I carefully consider how every creation I make relates to my life in some manner. One of those is sexual assault. Sexual assault makes you feel as though you are being kept against your will and raises your guard. How can I allow someone else inside? How am I still liberating in the sexual sense? How can I love myself if I am denied the opportunity to explore that? These are all questions I asked, but through time and with a lot of treatment, I regained the ability to be and feel all of them. This shirt is meant to commemorate not being afraid to be that person, but only with your own consent and clearance. Always, it will be your body and your choice.
